20/1 1968 John Fred & His Playboy Band's hit "Judy in Disguise (With Glasses)" became number one on the US singles chart. The song title is a parodic play on the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," and actually bumped another Beatles song, "Hello, Goodbye," from the top spot. In Great Britain it was third.
