Noise rock with a nicely distorted and (possibly?) controlled but chaotic musical confusion that escalates towards the end, which is absolutely wonderful.
26/12 1966 The Jimi Hendrix Experience did an afternoon show at The Uppercut Club in London. In the lodge, that same day, Hendrix wrote the lyrics to "Purple Haze".
