9/28/2004 Producer Phil Spector was indicted for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson. She was found shot to death sitting on a chair at the home of Spector, who claimed she had committed suicide. Spector was otherwise a man who revolutionized the recording industry in the 1960s with his so-called sound wall "The Wall of Sound". He produced records for, among others, The Ronettes, The Crystals and Darlene Love, but also for acts such as The Beatles and the Ramones.
